Adani Group and Sodexo Collaborate to Upskill India’s Youth

Sodexo has recently announced that it has collaborated with the Adani Group to offer a comprehensive skill development program to the youth in remote locations of the country. Through this collaboration, Sodexo and the Adani Group plan to offer the youth skilling, training, and placement opportunities. That way, they will find it easy to earn a living. The Main Aim Of The Program:

The main reason Sodexo plans to start this venture is the need for more skilled individuals in the hospitality and faculty management sector. By offering the necessary skills and training, today’s youth will be empowered to secure employment. This is going to contribute to the nation’s growth. The potential of individuals living in remote communities will also come to light.

This is not the Adani Group’s first involvement in a skills development initiative. In the past as well, the business group has taken up multiple initiatives which are directly aimed at offering the youth of our nation the desired skills and expertise to earn a living for themselves. The Pilot Phase of the Skill Enhancement Program:

The youth skill enhancement program will be piloted at Bhuj and Mundra in Gujarat. A single batch will consist of over 150 youths. Both Sodexo and Adani look forward to witnessing a complete transformation in the lives of the youth involved in the project. Based on the success of this initiative being taken up at Bhuj and Mundra, Adani Skill Development Centre is willing to take up similar initiatives in some of our country’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company also has a target to upskill over 500 youths by 2024.

The Adani Skill Development Centre Operations Head Amit Thakker has recently mentioned that he is hopeful about the collaboration. He also believes that it will bring about a change in the lives of the people across the nation. The initiative’s success will drive more youth to participate in the program. That way, they can equip themselves with the necessary skills. This will help them in acquiring jobs for themselves. Various entrepreneurial activities will also start taking place. The noble initiative will also cause the opposition to stop their allegations of the Adani scam.

The Individual Roles of Sodexo and Adani Group:
