From Andhra Pradesh, Shaik Rasheed initially made headlines as a prominent member of India’s victorious U19 World Cup team in 2022. His solidity on the junior circuit marked him out as the figure to watch in the years to come. He has been mounting the domestic cricket ladder ever since, and today he is a solid member of the Andhra First-Class side.
Rasheed has left the impression so far in his First-Class cricket career with 1204 runs from 19 matches at a scintillating average of 46.04. His temperament and technique have found favor many a time, with him being an invaluable top-order contributor. In addition to the above, Rasheed has appeared in 17 T20 fixtures with 352 runs at 29.33 average and a healthy 127.07 strike rate, proving he is adaptable as well in the short version of the game.
